Shamanism is an ancient healing approach that allows you two connect with nature and the universe. Shamanism is the word used to describe the ancient spiritual practices and traditions of indigenous cultures from which the word shaman originates (the Tungus tribe in Siberia, specifically). New-age circles have modernized shamanism, so it can be difficult to distinguish between traditional and modernized practices and both have their place in the healing process.
Shamanic healing can be performed by a trained practitioner who can guide you along this journey. Although a shaman is not currently available within the Pulley Chiropractic & Acupuncture practice at this time, Kate Zehnter of Zehnergy is available to provide CoreIndividuation (CI), which is a holistic energy healing approach that can be very effective for a variety of conditions. Please visit her website at zehnergy.com for more information or to book an appointment.
Dave Eyerman of Personal Freedom Advocate is a local practitioner who does offer shamanic services. Shamanic work addresses the fullness of who you are, inviting you to be as fully yourself as possible. When illness is present, it is indicative of something is inhibiting the complete expression of yourself. Through shamanic journeying, soul retrievals, and shamanic extractions, shamanic healing helps restore health and balance on the deepest of levels of who you are as a mind-body-soul being. It is a powerful tool to shift the course of your life and your well-being.
If you are interested in an energetic approach like acupuncture, Dr. Pulley is available to help as a licensed acupuncturist. Shamanism and acupuncture are similar but different, so both can be very helpful.
